Launch Steps

STEP 1:

Identify Key Partners

The first step is to identify key partners who will champion the initiative. Find a dedicated community leader, determine a start date, and confirm the participation of Ukrainian educational partners. Strong leadership from the beginning ensures a smooth launch, a sustainable program, and powerful events.

STEP 2:

Establish Leadership & Logistics

Select a lead organizer and student ambassadors to guide the event or program and keep participants engaged. Assess funding requirements and secure the resources needed for long-term success.

STEP 3:

Organize Student Engagement

Introduce students to KidsKonnectUkraine and our mission. Schedule and confirm a live virtual meetup with Ukrainian students. Have students join the KKU Slack channel and create profiles for ongoing discussions and activities. Set up student ambassadors to lead conversations and encourage students to research meaningful discussion topics. Before any virtual meetups, test connectivity and equipment to ensure smooth interactions.

Ready to Launch?

By launching a KidsKonnectUkraine event or chapter, you give students the opportunity to build friendships, share cultures, gain a deeper understanding of each other’s realities, and take bold action.

Whether you’re a student, educator, or community leader, you have the power to bring this connection to life. Take the first step today.
