Katia updates us on her FLEX journey! The program provides Ukrainian students with an opportunity to study in a US high school and live with an American host family for one academic year.
“Hello, my name is Katia, I’m a participant of the KidsKonnectProgram. This year, I became a FLEX finalist
. So I’d love to invite you to join to my journey!
And our first stop was Poland! We spent 4 days there at the Pre-Departure Orientation together with all the FLEX finalists from Ukraine 
. We had many activities: team challenges, problem-solving tasks (things that could happen in the US), and even learned dances that American teens do at prom 
.
I’m so grateful for all the amazing memories we created and for the wonderful people I got to meet
The real adventure began when we flew to Americaaa!!! 
I’m sooo excited!”
